The active ingredient, tylosine is obtained by means of synthesis from Strep. fradie cultures. When given orally, it is easily absorbed, especially from the proximal part of alimentary tract, which enables early therapeutic blood concentrations; in addition, it is well distributed through body compartments. The drug mainly acts upon gram (+) bacteria.
Taylosol-Vet Powder is used safely in chickens and chicks
for prophylaxis and treatment of chronic respiratory disease
(CRD) caused by PPLOs (pleuro-pneumonia- like organisms)
and the diseases caused by mycoplasma spp. gram (+), gram
(-) bacteria and infectious sinusitis of turkey. The safety
