Solution of povidon-iode,
an organic iode compound, is strong bactericide, antiviral,
fungicide, sporocide, and amoebocide, antiseptic, deodorant,
and disinfectant.
The active ingredient of Sanidin disinfectant solution, the povidion-iode is antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal, sporcide, and amoebocide. Antiseptic and disinfectant activity of this product is based on the principle, the release of active iode after administration. Povidone-iode, which is used for broad asepsis and antisepsis and disinfection, has the same features with iode with respect to its bacterial spectrum and activity, however has no irrigative, cauterization, coloring and toxic effects of iode.

Sanidin Disinfectant solution,
in different dilutions, can be used for general disinfection
of poultry houses, big and small animal houses and equipment;
hatchery and equipment, trenspot vehicles, milk and meat,
food plants and drink and system water and deodorant;
in addition for injections and asepsis of operation site
before surgical operations; for asepsis of skin interdigital
and teat lesions contaminated with pathogen organisms.
Similarly, it can be applied to hands against a probable
infection prior to the rectal examination.
This preparation is used as an antiseptic and disinfectant agent in bacterial and viral infections of domestic animals such as Brucella, pieten, foot-and-mouth disease, mastitis, agalaxia, anthrax, pneumonia, salmonellosis, rabies, tetanus, tuberculosis, typo, paratyphoid, E coli infections, CRD, PPLO, gumboro, pox, septicemia, enteritis.
