MICOSPECTONE Injectable solution is a combination of Lincomycin and Spectinomycin (1: 2). Lincomycine, a member of Linkosamide group, is especially effective against Gram (+) bacteria and mycoplasma sp. It well-penetrates to all organ and tissues, therefore the concentration in organs and tissues is higher than in blood. Spectinomycine, an Aminocyclitol derived antibiotic, has broader spectrum than lincomycine and affective against some Gram (+) and Gram (-) bacteria and mycoplasma. When administered parenterally it is distributed in the organim sufficiently. Combined usage of the active ingredients produces a very stron synergetic effect against many bacterial pathogens; including mycoplasma spp. Minimum inhibitor concentration of this combination is significantly lower than the concentrations when they are used saperetaly.
