MEKTİVER is a broad-spectrum antiparasitic indicated in stomach-intestine and lung nematodes hypoderma bovis, louse, scabies, tick, nose worm, eye worm and skin filaria of cattle, ship, and goats.
MEKTİVER is the sterile ready-to-use solution of Ivermectin 1%
Ivermectin is derived from avermectin which is the natural fermentation product of streptomyces avermetilis Ivermectin kills target nematodes, arthropods and insects, paralyzing them by stimulating the secretion of Gamma amino butric acid which blockages the nervous functions. Following the administration, Ivermectin is distributed in the body by means of blood. The elimination time is longer, which enables a stable antiparasitic effect during 2-4 weeks.
USAGE AND DOSING

Cattle: recommended dose: 1 ml/50 kg b.w. Administer s.c. route from the backside of neck. Do not administer more than 10 ml to an injection site.
Ship and goat: recommended dose: 0.5ml/25 kg b.w. Administer s.c route from armpit or back side of the armpit. A second injection after 7 days may be required for treatment of umbilical scabies in ships (Psoroptes ovis).
