HISTAVET is indicated in domestic animals for the treatment of allergic and anaphylactic reactions due to histaminutese. The active ingredient of Histavet, mepiraminutese maleat, an ethylendiaminutes-derived antihistaminutesic, following the adminutesistration, in all animal species, via parenteral routes, reaches to the normal plasma concentrations after 15 minutesutes and the highest plasma concentrations after 30 minutesutes. Therefore, the antihistaminutesic effect of HISTAVET initiates within 15 minutesutes, peaks after 30 minutesutes and remains stable for 8-12 hours. Mepiraminutes maleat is highly methabolised in liver and the principal metabolites are excreted via urine. |
